Dining Rooms/ Food & Beverage Manager

Job Summary: The Dining Rooms/Food & Beverage Manager oversees all aspects of dining room operations at the Club, ensuring members and guests receive exceptional service in an elegant, welcoming atmosphere. This role is responsible for supervising front-of-house staff, maintaining service standards consistent with a high-end private club environment, and working collaboratively with the culinary and event teams to deliver an exceptional dining experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to: 1. Manage daily dining room operations including breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets, and special events ensuring service excellence and adherence to club standards 2. Maintain a strong floor presence during service hours. 3. Supervise, train, and schedule front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and support staff 4. Greet and interact with members and guests, fostering positive relationships and anticipating needs 5. Monitor service flow, table settings, cleanliness, and overall dining room appearance 6. Collaborate with the Culinary and kitchen team to ensure timely, accurate, and beautifully presented food service 7. Handle member inquiries, concerns, or complaints with professionalism and discretion 8. Support private dining and banquet events, including setup, execution, and service coordination 9. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations 10. Monitor inventory of dining room supplies and coordinate with purchasing as needed 11. Assist with menu knowledge training, wine service standards, and upselling strategies 12. Prepare reports on service performance, staffing, and member feedback as required Job Requirements include the following, but are not limited to: 1. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in fine dining, private club, or luxury hospitality management 2. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and mentor staff 3. Exceptional knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and spirits. 4. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills 5. Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite 6. Commitment to delivering a world-class member experience 7. Strong leadership, financial acumen, and operational management skills 8. In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, food and beverage trends, and fine dining service standards 9. Act as a role model for all employees by demonstrating the behavior and work ethic expected of all employees 10. Self-motivated with desire to promote and market 11. Service and customer focused attitude 12. Experienced in written and oral business communications 13. Remain up to date on customer relationship management tactics and strategies 14. Experienced computer user including Microsoft Word and Excel. Proficient in other applications, i.e. email, internet, tournament, and database. 15.
