American Medical Associates - Regional Director of Social WorkLocated throughout New York, NYSalary up to $95K Per Year; Based On ExperienceJob Overview of the Regional Director of Social WorkDevelop and maintain transitional care and social service systems which build and enhance the facilities within the region's reputation for being the unparalleled provider of care and demonstrate the facility's approach to interdisciplinary care.Compliance with facility's policies, procedures, clinical standards, and protocols.Monitors compliance with Documentation Guidelines and Regulatory Requirements.Contributes effectively to the census development/marketing efforts in coordination with the facility.Contributes to professional development of self and facility's transitional care and social service staff.Qualifications/Requirements of the Regional Director of Social Work:Must have regional management experienceLMSW strongly preferred, BSW or MSWMust have at least two years of experience in the Social Service field in Skilled NursingMust have current nursing home/Long term care experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated leadership and management skills.Knowledge of JCAHO, OBRA, IDPH, and HFS regulations relevant to social services discharge procedures, and advanced directives.#7508
