Preparation and checking of design calculations, quantities, cost estimates, and project plans. Additional duties may include field assessment and inspection of structures and facilities. Is self-motivated, technically proficient, possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, and is team-oriented.\n\nJob Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills)\n\nMinimum Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) or a related field. Master’s Degree preferred.\n\nMinimum three (3) years of design experience for CA role. Five (5) years of experience is preferred.\n\nP.E, Registration required in the jurisdiction of the position or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.\n\nDOT experience.\n\nGood interpersonal skills and capable of developing technical writing, and communications skills.\n\nAbility to make mathematical computations and design engineering projects.\n\nAbility to use engineering instruments and tools including computer workstations and bridge engineering software such as Open Bridge, MathCAD, RISA, and LPile.
