The Coordinator will also assist with other special projects as assigned.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Services or related field is required.\nMinimum 3 years of administrative and/or logistics coordination experience within an education or a social services environment is required.\nMinimum of one year experience preferred.\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nThis position does not include any supervisory responsibilities.\nSupport to Internal Team\nCoordinate the schedules and delivery of services as a coordinator for Head Start partners connecting them to needed Head Start material and resources with team members serving as a liaison between Next Memphis - Head Start partners and Head Start comprehensive teams.\nAssist with identification and refinement of services to offer alliance partners\nMaintain customer service protocol and assist with internal trainings\nSupport development of internal capacity for child care business functions such as utilization of business automation tools, human resource services, family support services, professional development and technical assistance by providing on-site technical assistance and coaching.\nAssist with development of performance metrics; assist with data collection to measure impact (e.g., hub time tracking, ProCare utilization)\nAssist with recruitment, vetting and on-boarding of new members\nAssist with meetings (e.g., scheduling, creation of agendas, minutes, etc.)\nSupport to Partner Centers\nImplement shared services and Head Start best practices with partner centers\nAttend regular Head Start meetings and trainings to better support Next Memphis Head Start partners\nWork closely with the Director to develop and support administrative systems according to needs of the center pertaining to organizational growth, quality programming and requirements from our licensing bodies.\nWork with the Director to develop and support strategies to bolster program quality and operational efficiency of partner center\nHelp with onboarding and data entry for child care management software\nSupport the following systems according to the needs of the center and our licensing bodies including Head Start regulations.\nFile management including cloud-based systems\nEmergency procedures and preparedness\nSupport back office functions as needed\nStaff Training Documentation\nEvaluation systems\nClient program timelines\nSupport maintaining website for all Next Memphis tiers\nOther duties as assigned\nSupport to other special projects\nModel the organizations’ values where appropriate (collaborate, recommend evidence-based practices, challenge the status quo)\nParticipate as part of an administrative team in the execution of all organization activities\nOut-of-office errands as assigned\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nThorough experience of the early childhood education industry\nProficient with relevant Microsoft software programs (Word, Publisher, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.)\nStrong communication (i.e., verbal and written) and interpersonal skills\nAbility to maintain confidentiality\nAbility to problem solve\nAdaptable to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and can deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to details\nSelf-directed and able to meet deadlines\nClean driving record\nDependable with good attendance\nPhysical Demands\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and color vision. Work in a non-smoking area.\nSpecial Conditions\nThis position requires a valid driver's license, a personal vehicle to travel locally to PL sites a minimum of 30% of the time, good driving record with appropriate level of automobile insurance.
