Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:\n\nThe candidate shall have knowledge and understanding of principles, policies, and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as defined in DoDI 5000.2, as well as knowledge of roles and relationships within the DoD and the Air Force to provide strategic and tactical program planning (short-term, mid-term, and long-term plans) in furthering system mission capabilities.\n\nThe candidate shall assist the program manager in assessing what is within schedule and cost baselines, be able to recommend viable solutions to problems, and pursue alternative courses of action.\n\nThe candidate must be able to plan, research, analyze, and assess system acquisition in terms of development, production, and deployment of weapons systems and associated equipment and develop plans and recommend innovative and effective strategies in meeting cost, schedule, and performance objectives.\n\nThe candidate plans, schedules, and facilitates a variety of exchanges and meetings with the program office team, stakeholders, and industry to understand program requirements and emerging commercial technologies which may address warfighter capability gaps.\n\nThe candidate shall formulate, recommend, and draft the proper acquisition strategy and associated statutory and regulatory acquisition documentation in a timely and effective manner.\n\nThe candidate will support all Acquisition Strategy reviews, develop supporting documentation, and support the government in development and review of draft Request for Proposal (RFP) documents and final RFP documents.\n\nThe candidate shall support program management reviews, senior-level meetings/reviews, and IMP/IMS reviews; support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management.\n\nThe candidate shall analyze program operations and provide/execute approved process improvement initiatives.\n\nMinimum Education & Experience Requirements\n\nMaster’s degree (MA/MS) and 10 years of experience, including 5 years in DoD\nOR\n\nBachelor’s degree (BA/BS) and 12 years of experience, including 5 years in DoD\n\nTop Secret clearance required.\n\nWe hire military.\n\nWork, Physical, and Mental Requirements\nPlease see standard Work, Physical, and Mental Requirements for all Quantech roles.\n\nWork Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This would require the ability to move files or boxes with file data, open filing cabinets, bend or stand as necessary, and lift up to 40 lbs.\n\nMental Demands: Reading; communicate effectively (verbal and written); maintain emotional control and professionalism.\n\nTravel: As required\n\nSecurity clearance required: Top Secret\n\nJob Requirements\n\nProgram Analyst / Technical Support\n\nClearance Required: SECRET\n\nQualifications and Requirements:\n\nPossess the ability to work independently and apply the proper procedures and processes related to assigned tasks.\n\nPossess strong communication skills and utilize those skills to build relationships with supported customers.\n\nExperience with SharePoint to include managing, uploading, and editing program data and files.
