Responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menus
Assist in menu planning and development to enhance dining experiences
Ensure all food handling and safety regulations are strictly followed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
Collaborate with dietary aides to cater to specific dietary needs of guests
Utilize knife skills for meal preparation, ensuring precision and presentation
Provide exceptional food service during meal times, including catering events
Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge
Requirements
Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred
Strong background in fine dining or restaurant environments
Proficiency in food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen
Experience with catering services is a plus
Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in meal preparation
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
