Mobile Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant

About the Job MOBILE PHLEBOTOMIST/MEDICAL ASSISTANT - PER DIEM INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORCOVERAGE: HONESDALE, WAYMART, LAKE ARIEL, AND OTHER SURROUNDING TOWNS IN PIKE COUNTY PAY RANGE: $25 - $40 PER EXAM JOB DETAILS:Must be willing to travel to the client's location for appointments. Availability required is for 1-2 weekdays from 9 am - 1 pm and 1 Saturday morning a month, other availability to schedule clients would be a plus, including any afternoons or early evenings. Paid on a fee-per-case basis twice a month. Accurately labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, documenting health histories, manual vital signs, and obtaining EKGs when needed (will train with our equipment). Call clients, schedule them, centrifuge SST, scan paperwork when finished & complete out in the portal, FedEx out all specimens. Bilingual in Spanish a plus. Current phlebotomy experience of 2 years, skilled in hand stick as needed. JOB REQUIREMENTS:Professional, responsible, and self-motivated with excellent attention to detail. Reliable transportation, current Driver's License & Auto insurance. Must have a computer with internet access and a printer to print orders and documents. YOU MUST SUPPLY YOUR OWN: BP cuffs (reg. & large). Stethoscope, scale that goes to 360 lbs., metal tape measure. Blood and urine kits will be provided to you along with a centrifuge and EKG machine. BACKGROUND CHECK AND URINE DRUG SCREEN REQUIRED.
