Healthcare Solutions Program Manager
What We NeedThe HC Solutions Program Manager is responsible for the design, automation, and execution of PDC’s premier customer conversion and retention tool. This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Data Analytics, and Supply Chain. The primary objective is to take raw customer data (competitive product lists and hardware inventories) and transform it into a professional, automated "Standardization Road Map" that proves the value of switching to PDC products. What You'll Be DoingSystem Architecture: Build and maintain an automated Master Cross-Reference (XREF) Database that maps competitor SKUs to PDC equivalents based on technical attributes.Data Transformation: Take fragmented "Usage Reports" from hospital systems and clean/normalize the data for analysis.Gap Analysis: Conduct comprehensive audits of customer hardware (printers) to ensure 100% media compatibility, reducing technical failures at the point of care.Reporting & Visualization: Generate "Standardization Impact Reports" for the sales team to present to Hospital C-Suites, highlighting GPO compliance and cost-saving opportunities.Process Automation: Develop tools (via Excel Power Query, SQL, or BI tools) to reduce the manual time required to cross-reference customer lists.Project Leadership: Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for internal sales teams on how to position the consolidation program as a competitive advantage.Direct Leadership: Supervise and mentor one Analyst (Individual Contributor), overseeing their daily output, data accuracy, and professional development.Workflow Optimization: Define the division of labor between strategic program design (Manager) and data execution/cross-referencing (Analyst).Quality Assurance: Act as the final point of review for all high-stakes Standardization Reports before they are delivered to Sales or Hospital Executives.Program Lifecycle: Own the long-term roadmap for the program, ensuring it evolves as new PDC products are launched and competitor technologies change.Database Stewardship: Establish a "Living XREF" protocol—ensuring that every time a new competitor SKU is identified in the field, it is permanently categorized and mapped in the master automation tool for future use.Performance Tracking: Develop a "Post-Conversion" audit process to track actual customer savings vs. the original proposal, creating "Success Case Studies" for the marketing team.Hardware Roadmap Integration: Maintain a rolling database of healthcare hardware (Zebra, Honeywell, SATO) end-of-life dates to proactively suggest hardware refreshes to customers. What You Will Need To Be SuccessfulExperience: 3–5 years in Program management, Healthcare Supply Chain, Sales OperationsTechnical Savvy: Expert-level Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Power Query, Macros). Familiarity with SAP, Salesforce, or Tableau is highly preferred.Industry Knowledge: Understanding of Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) like Vizient, Premier, or HealthTrust.Analytical Mindset: Ability to look at a list of hardware (e.g., Zebra ZD510) and immediately identify the correct media specs required.Communication: Ability to translate complex data into a simple "Buy This, Save This" narrative for hospital executives.About UsWho we are:When hospitals, schools, hotels, and even music festivals need to identify the people coming through their doors, they rely on PDC's expertise and solutions.
