Other duties may be required and assigned.\n• Performs a variety of carpentry task in the construction and maintenance of buildings.\n• Installs and repairs electrical outlets, circuits, switches, fans, and lighting fixtures.\n• Installs and repairs plumbing fixtures, water and drainage lines, and sewage disposal fields and plants.\n• Paints and decorates interiors and exteriors of buildings.\n• Makes repairs and adjustments to laundry, heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning units.\n• Operates and utilizes a wide variety of tools and equipment such as assorted hand tools, table saws,\nskill saws, hand drills, drill presses, pipe cutters, pipe threaders, welding torches, cutting torches, and\nvoltage testers; may operate a pick-up truck or other vehicle in getting to and from the job.\n• Follows safety protocols and uses personal protective equipment as necessary.\n• Performs grounds duties and/or custodial duties as required by supervisor.\n• May keep simple records and make routine reports such as time expended, and materials used.\n• May provide training to other staff as necessary.\n\nThe applicant selected for this position must complete full background checks including fingerprinting.
