This will be a full time position. nRegional resource responsible for patient safety and the performance of high quality MR studies. Insures effective communication with customers, including radiologists as necessary. In some instances, trains new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators. nSpecific duties include, but are not limited to: nnnResponsible for Patient Safety, including pre-screening for contra-indications, aseptic injection technique, etc. n nnProduces high quality diagnostic images. n nnOrders supplies, cleans unit, assist in preparing for transport on a daily basis. n nnEffectively communicates with customers and/or radiologists. n nnTrains new technologist and/or PC's n n nPosition Requirements: nnnHigh School Diploma or Equivalent Experience n nnRegistered Technologists by the ARRT, NMTCB or ARDMS n nnState License Licensed Radiologic Technologist or Magnetic Resonance Technologist, if applicable. n nnTechnologists performing mid-day moves n nnState license, as required. n nnCPR certification. n nnActive state driver’s license. n n nPreferred Requirements: nnnAssociate's Degree or Equivalent Experience n nnRegistry in Magnetic Resonance by the ARRT. n n nAt Akumin, we invest in the well-being of our employees, so you can bring your best self to work each day.
