Community Involvement:Share time, talent, and treasure in the community through group projects, eight hours paid charity time off, donation drives, and employee donation match Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Leader to oversee our team of mechanical and electrical assemblers and technicians in the assembly of performance racing dynamometers. This role is critical in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both mechanical and electrical assembly processes, with a proven track record of leading and motivating teams to achieve production goals. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership and Development Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mechanical and electrical assemblers and technicians. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members Production Management Plan, coordinate, and oversee the daily production activities to ensure timely completion of assembly tasks. Develop and implement production schedules, allocate resources, and manage workflow to meet production targets. Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications. Quality Assurance Establish and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of product quality and performance. Conduct regular inspections and testing of assembled dynamometers to ensure compliance with specifications. Identify and address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions. Process Improvement Analyze production processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and productivity. Implement lean manufacturing principles and other process improvement methodologies. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize assembly processes and resolve technical issues. Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all production activities comply with safety regulations and company policies. Promote a culture of safety awareness and enforce safety protocols. Conduct regular safety training sessions and audits. Inventory and Resource Management: Manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of necessary materials and components for assembly. Coordinate with the procurement team to maintain adequate stock levels and minimize production downtime. Monitor and control production costs to meet budgetary requirements. Education / Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production leadership role, preferably in manufacturing or the performance racing industry. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly processes. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs): Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software. Preferred Experience (KSAs): Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
