This role drives the monthly and quarterly close processes, ensures accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP, and builds scalable accounting infrastructure to support rapid growth and acquisitions. The Controller partners cross-functionally with Treasury, FP&A, IT, and executive leadership to provide financial insights, strengthen internal controls, and develop a high-performing accounting team.\r\nEssential Duties\r\nFinancial Close & Reporting\r\nLead and standardize the monthly and quarterly close process across business units, targeting a 5-day close\r\nDrive completion and accuracy of month-end close activities\r\nPrepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP\r\nOversee monthly flux analysis, accrual methodologies, and journal entry review\r\nPrepare audit-ready financial statements and footnotes\r\nImplement automation initiatives to reduce manual processes\r\nConsolidation & Controls\r\nStandardize consolidation and reporting processes\r\nDevelop scalable internal controls in preparation for SOX compliance\r\nEstablish and maintain a practical internal control and enterprise risk management framework\r\nEnsure adherence to accounting policies and company specifications\r\nDecision Support & Strategic Partnership\r\nProvide analytical insights on cost of revenue, supply chain spending, pricing, and strategic initiatives\r\nPartner with IT to strengthen financial systems and controls\r\nEstablish a reporting cadence highlighting key business drivers and actionable insights\r\nTreasury & Cash Management Support\r\nCollaborate with Treasury on policy development and banking practices\r\nSupport cash flow forecasting and reportingEnsure timely completion of bank reconciliations\r\nPartner with shared services to optimize AP/AR processes and collections\r\nTax & Compliance\r\nOversee domestic tax compliance and regulatory requirements\r\nManage external tax advisors to optimize tax positions\r\nTalent Development\r\nBuild and lead a high-performing accounting team\r\nDevelop training programs and documentation\r\nProvide ongoing coaching, accountability, and performance feedback\r\nMinimum Qualifications\r\nBachelor's degree in accounting\r\nCPA, preferred, but not required, with experience from a Big 4 accounting firm or extensive corporate accounting experience.\r\nMinimum of 12 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role\r\nStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP (ASC 205, ASC 606, ASC 718, ASC 842).\r\nFamiliarity with Netsuite, Billing, Corporate card, Procurement, and Financial Close Tools\r\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills\r\nExceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills\r\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with very little guidance\r\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Regular periods of sitting or standing may be required by this position. In addition, this position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds.
