This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.\n\nAssembly Responsibilities include but are not limited to:\n\nAssemble products and components according to specifications, work instructions, and engineering drawings.\nFollow established testing, assembly, and quality procedures.\nMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.\nCommunicate production issues, quality concerns, and continuous improvement ideas to leadership.\nFollow all company policies, procedures, and management directives.\nParticipate in required training, workshops, and safety programs.\nSupport team objectives and assist with other production-related activities as assigned.\nWork on manufacturing orders as assigned by the Operations Manager and/or Operations Lead.\nRead and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and assembly instructions.\nAssemble mechanical and electrical components to required specifications.\nPerform panel wiring and basic electrical assembly tasks.\nCut, glue, and assemble PVC piping and related components.\nApply paint and coatings as required by product specifications.\nOperate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and manually operated material handling equipment.\nOperate powered material handling equipment when authorized and trained.\nConduct product testing and inspections according to established procedures.\nVerify completed assemblies meet quality and production standards.\nReport equipment malfunctions, material shortages, and production concerns promptly.\n\nAssembly Requirements:\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nPrevious experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred.\nPrior blueprint and mechanical drawing reading experience preferred.\nPrevious assembly experience preferred.\nAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.\nAbility to follow verbal and written instructions.\nBasic mathematical skills.\nAbility to interpret written, oral, and diagram-based instructions.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nAbility to stand for extended periods.\nManual dexterity and the ability to work with hands and small components.\nAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to safely operate hand tools and pneumatic tools.\nAbility to perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining quality standards.\nAbility to maintain production standards.\n\nIND017\n\nAbout us:\nQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
