Quality Inspector 1

Abba Roller is seeking a Quality Inspector 1 who inspects a range of components, parts and/or products for the area assigned as prescribed by all applicable specifications and quality assurance Instructions. Identifies moderately difficult quality issues in design, process or other inefficiencies to meet quality requirements.About ABBA Roller:ABBA Roller specializes in high-performance urethane rollers and custom elastomer solutions for industrial and commercial applications. We value hands-on problem solving, craftsmanship, and a workplace where expertise and teamwork drive every success.Job Responsibilities :Conducts examinations and quality control inspections on products, materials and components at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standardsInspection of product for visual defects as required, such as unaided eye or some level of magnificationInspection of product for dimensional specifications using contact and non-contact measurement equipment/Vision systemsReading/understanding part drawing requirements and specificationsReading/understanding work order/router requirements and specific work instructionsReporting and Documentation of Inspection resultsReview Documents such as Work Order/Router, Certificates, Product Labels for completeness, accuracy, consistency per GMP/GDP requirementsSupports Inspection of incoming materials and parts from suppliersOther responsibilities as assignedEducation:A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectationsYears' Experience:Minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environmentSkills: Ability to follow established job instructions and procedures with minimal supervisionExperience is using standard quality inspection tools such as calibers, etc.Strong attention to detail and ability to apply a systematic Quality approach while using existing procedures to solve a range of technical issuesBasic understanding measuring and using test equipment as prescribed by job assignmentCapable of following instructions and applying processes and procedures to standard routine tasksMust be able to interpret and follow written and verbal instructions, including engineering drawings, charts, diagrams, and sketchesProficient computer skillsPage BreakBenefits:At Abba Roller, we recognize how important your career and benefits are to you and your family.
