This role requires attention to detail, strong technical ability, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Shift:Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm but hours could varyEssential Job Functions:Must be able to weld steel.Selecting, measuring, cutting, and joining appropriate metals to specifications.Preparing metals and work surfaces to ensure safe and effective assemblage.Interpreting specifications and blueprints accurately.Regularly cleaning and inspecting welding equipment and tools.Operate forklift as required (Must be properly licensed in accordance with existing company policy).May be required by management to perform other reasonable work-related tasks.RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferred1-2 years of MIG welding experience (or completion of an accredited welding program)Ability to read blueprints and understand welding symbolsStrong understanding of welding safety and PPE requirementsProficiency using fabrication tools, measuring devices, and basic shop mathAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving skillsCertification in welding is a plus, but not required
