We want to hear from you.Job Title: Senior SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid, onsite from day 1)Contract: 12 MonthsWhat you’ll be doing:Design and extend robust test automation frameworks (Java + BDD)Own API test automation end-to-end using Karate, JMeter, RESTBuild and maintain CI/CD-integrated test pipelinesLead and mentor a global team of 20+ engineers (onshore & offshore)Collaborate with product owners to align testing with business requirementsDrive performance and load testing strategies at scaleRequired Qualifications10+ years of experience in software quality engineering8+ years designing test automation frameworks from the ground upStrong Java + Cucumber/JBehave (BDD) proficiency – 3 to 5 yearsREST API testing expertise – Karate, RestAssured, or equivalentJMeter for scenario-based performance testing – 3+ yearsSolid SQL skills for test data and query validationCI/CD experience – Jenkins, Git, DevOps workflowsFull-stack and 3rd-party integration testing experienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fieldPreferred Qualifications:Python development experienceAWS cloud exposureApigee or API gateway knowledgeMicroservices architecture understandingAgile/Lean team experience (2+ years)About us:Harvey Nash is a national, full-service talent management firm specializing in technology positions.
