This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced environment committed to continuous improvement and excellence.*Responsibilities** Design, develop, and deploy cloud infrastructure solutions utilizing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and Rackspace.* Implement and manage virtualization technologies including VMware, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, and Citrix to optimize resource utilization and scalability.* Develop automation scripts and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, PowerShell, Bash scripting, and Shell Scripting to streamline deployment processes.* Build and maintain web services and APIs using RESTful principles with languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Go, and .NET.* Collaborate within Agile teams to develop microservices architectures supporting SaaS (Software as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), and IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) models.* Ensure system security through hardening practices, VPN configurations, system updates, patch management, and adherence to best practices in system hardening.* Monitor cloud infrastructure performance using tools like Jenkins, Git for version control, Meraki for network management, and implement CI/CD pipelines for seamless software deployment.* Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architecture designs, deployment procedures, and operational processes.*Qualifications** Proven experience in cloud computing environments with a strong understanding of cloud architecture principles across multiple platforms including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure or Rackspace.* Hands-on expertise with virtualization technologies such as VMware, OpenStack; containerization tools like Docker; orchestration platforms like Kubernetes; and automation frameworks including Terraform and Ansible.* Solid knowledge of web services development using REST APIs; familiarity with microservices architecture; experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash or PowerShell.* Strong background in IT infrastructure management encompassing operating systems (Linux/Windows), databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle/MS SQL Server), networking (VPNs), and system security practices.* Experience working within Agile development environments employing DevOps methodologies for continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD).* Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra or MongoDB; knowledge of Internet of Things (IoT) integrations is a plus.* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; relevant certifications like AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect are advantageous.* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues across diverse systems while maintaining high standards of system hardening and security compliance.
