As part of the Product Development Team at Contexture, this position will support the development of new and existing solutions at Contexture through all phases of the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC). As applicable, after hours may be necessary to support after hours deployments, changes, or major incident response.\n\nThis position is based in Phoenix Arizona; Denver Colorado; or Grand Junction, Colorado and requires local residency in one of these base locations. This position will be encouraged to provide feedback and suggestions for ongoing and upcoming development efforts.\nWork closely with Operations, Quality Assurance (QA), Implementation and Project Managers to support technical efforts throughout the SDLC.\nDocument the technical specifications of developed solutions.\nPerform intermittent peer code reviews.\nVersatility and adaptability to evolving priorities in projects, products, and tasks.\nDevelop software across multiple platforms utilizing security best practices.\nFunction as tier 3 support on post-production issues for Contexture and non-Contexture solutions and products.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\n\nMinimum 7 years of object-oriented Software Development with a strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design.\nExcellent understanding of XML/JSON.\nMinimum 3 years of experience developing APIs and Web Services.\nExcellent understanding of Git Version Control (GitHub) and branching strategies.\nExperience in DevOps and release management.\nProficiency with databases such as MSSQL and NoSQL solutions, particularly MongoDB.\nExperience with all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).\nSelf-driven approach to learning and skills development.\nAdvanced written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to clearly communicate technical information to non-technical business users and customers.\nExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management and staff.\n\nDesired Skills & Experience\n\nAt least 5 years of C# development experience preferred.\nAt least 3 years of experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js and Nuxt preferred.\nAgile development practices using JIRA.\nHealthcare data standards knowledge (including HL7, CCDA, IHE and FHIR).\nUnderstanding of cloud computing and Infrastructure scaling.\nStrong understanding of secure development practices.\nLeadership experience in a collaborative team environment.\nExperience in Unit Testing development using tools such as XUnit and Playwright.\nExperience with QA testing using tools such as Postman and Cypress.\n\nEducation/Experience\n\nMinimum of 7 years of experience in Information Technology, Software Development.\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or another related field required; equivalent directly related work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\n\nWork Environment\n\nThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
