(GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems.\n\nUnder general supervision, this position is supporting Reliability, Availability & Maintainability (RAM) Engineering Department activities related to the execution of RAM Programs and other analyses for GA-ASI’s Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS).\n\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nAbility to learn aircraft and ground station subsystems and become an expert on how the systems work as a whole.\nProficient with Microsoft excel and access. Maintain and improve Reliability Databases to assess reliability performance through system life cycle, provide trend analysis, develop and monitor reliability growth.\nAbility to develop Reliability and Maintainability Models and Reliability Block Diagrams (RBDs).\nConduct Failure Modes Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).\nAbility to impact design through clear and concise Reliability & Maintainability analysis and design requirements.\nPossess the ability to develop and communicate new concepts; apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment; organize, schedule, and coordinate work phases; and, determine the appropriate approach at the task level or, with assistance, at the project level to provide solutions to a range of complex problems.\nHave strong communication, computer, technical writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills\nSupport the Design Assurance process and other related design review milestones (i.e., PDR, CDR, etc.).\nAbility to work independently and/or as part of a team, and able to perform multiple and complex tasks in one or more engineering areas.\n\nWe recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.\n\nJob Qualifications\n\nTypically requires a bachelors or masters degree in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and two or more years of engineering experience with a bachelors degree.
