ISLAND DAIRYWAREHOUSE WORKER - day shift5:00 am - 2:00 pm (additional daily overtime required)Position SummaryOur Warehouse Worker will ensure safe and accurate receipt, storage and shipment of dairy products utilizing equipment including, but not limited to sit down forklift, clamp truck and hand truck. Warehouse and/or Dairy experience preferred.CompensationHourly Rate: $18.00/hr.Job Duties:Load and unload trucks using equipment in an efficient and safe mannerMove product to storage areas with proper equipmentEfficiently lift, stack and store products in the appropriate areasPick and assemble orders for shipment with a minimum of 1,200 cases per shiftCheck and count products for accuracy before shipmentLoad trucks in a specific manner as described by the load out supervisor and/or clamperReceive, pick and rotate all products per their expiration date(s) - first in, first out (FIFO) policyExtensive walking of the entire warehouse using hand trucks stacked with cases of productsPerform other duties as assigned, may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed.
