Head of Sales
We're partnering with a high-growth developer-first SaaS company seeking a Head of Sales to lead the next stage of commercial growth.This is a hands-on player-coach leadership role for someone who has successfully helped scale a company from a PLG and inbound-led motion to a structured outbound sales organization. Initially, you'll own strategic deals directly while building the processes, team, and playbook required to support long-term growthWhat you'll doOwn company-wide new logo revenue and quota attainmentPersonally close mid-market and enterprise opportunitiesBuild and scale a repeatable outbound sales motionEstablish qualification, pricing, forecasting, and compensation frameworksHire, develop, and manage Account ExecutivesMove the business further up-market while preserving existing SMB successBuild scalable sales processes that reduce founder involvement in day-to-day deal executionPartner with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams on strategic customer opportunitiesRequirements7+ years of B2B SaaS sales experienceExperience selling API or developer-first productsAt least 2 years carrying an individual quota at an API/developer-focused companyProven success closing six and seven-figure enterprise dealsExperience scaling a sales team from fewer than 5 reps to 20+Demonstrated success transitioning companies from PLG/founder-led growth to outbound salesComfortable selling to CTOs, VPs of Engineering, Heads of Product, and other technical stakeholdersExperience building sales playbooks covering qualification, pricing, forecasting, and compensationCompensationBase Salary: $200K-$250KOTE: $400K-$500K
