Remote flexibility available.Why This Role Stands Out:Work with advanced water-based and solvent-based inks used in flexible packagingHigh-impact customer-facing role with strong technical ownershipFrequent travel and exposure to major manufacturing and printing operationsOpportunity to lead press trials, troubleshooting, and technical innovationCross-functional collaboration with R&D, manufacturing, and sales teamsWhat You'll Be Doing:Support customers in wide web flexographic and gravure printing environmentsTroubleshoot print defects, ink performance issues, and pressroom challengesLead press trials, product launches, and technical audits at customer sitesOptimize ink and coating performance across various substratesPartner with internal teams to develop technical solutions for customersServe as the primary technical contact for key accountsMaintain technical reports, service documentation, and communication logsEnsure compliance with safety and environmental regulations related to solvent handling and VOC standardsWhat They're Looking For:5+ years of experience supporting wide web flexographic and/or gravure printingStrong background with water-based and solvent-based inks and coatingsExperience troubleshooting print quality and pressroom process issuesKnowledge of ink/substrate interaction, drying systems, and surface treatmentsAbility to manage customer-facing technical projects independentlyStrong communication and relationship-building skillsComfortable traveling up to 70%Preferred Experience:Color management systems such as X-RiteLamination, coating, and converting processesVOC compliance and safety regulationsBachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Printing Technology, or related field preferred
