CT TechnologistThe CT Technologist performs high quality diagnostic CT imaging in a hospital environment during night shift hours. This role includes operating CT equipment, managing trauma and emergency cases, ensuring patient safety, and working closely with radiologists and clinical teams. The CT Tech must have strong technical skills and 2+ years of recent experience in a hospital or high acuity setting.Imaging & Technical DutiesPerform CT scans according to physician orders and standardized protocols.Operate CT scanners and related imaging equipment safely and efficiently.Position and prepare patients to achieve optimal imaging results while minimizing radiation exposure.Ensure timely and accurate transfer of images to PACS for radiologist interpretation.Night Shift Patient CareWork independently to manage nighttime CT imaging needs, including trauma, stroke, and emergency cases.Evaluate patient condition and adapt imaging techniques appropriately.Administer contrast material per protocol and monitor for adverse reactions.Maintain a calm, professional demeanor in fast paced or high stress situations.Collaboration & CommunicationCoordinate with emergency department staff, radiologists, and nursing teams during overnight hours.Provide clear, professional communication regarding patient status and imaging needs.Assist with prioritization of STAT, urgent, and routine scans.Safety & ComplianceAdhere to all radiation safety guidelines and hospital policies.Ensure equipment integrity and report issues promptly.Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA standards.Uphold infection control protocols and quality assurance standards.DocumentationComplete accurate documentation of procedures, contrast use, and patient interactions.Verify exam orders, patient identification, and protocol selection.Maintain thorough and timely entries within EMR and PACS systems.Equal Opportunity Employer: ATC Healthcare Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
