Responsibilities include planning and booking travel, liaising with Travel Management Companies (TMCs), and processing clearances and travel documents like passports and visas. They will utilize systems like DTS, SMS, and IGC for transportation coordination and budget management, acting as a Non‑DTS Entry Agent and Reviewing Official.\n\nAdditional duties involve supporting personnel with system troubleshooting, resolving travel and payroll inquiries, conducting quality checks on documentation, maintaining detailed records, and ensuring all training and requirements are met. This position will require adapting travel plans to evolving mission needs and providing multi‑channel support.\n\nJob Duties & Responsibilities\n\nThe employee will plan transportation methods, make reservations, and handle travel orders once authorized by the Approving Official (AO). This involves booking flights, lodging, and any other necessary travel‑related services.\n\nThe employee will liaise with TMCs to secure travel accommodations and manage any issues that arise.\n\nEmploy the Single Mobility System (SMS) and Integrated Developmental Environment/Global Transportation Network (IGC) to verify airlift availability and coordinate transportation logistics.\n\nProcess theater and country clearances to ensure all travel complies with international and local regulations.\n\nWork with the Agency's Passport/VISA Office to ensure all necessary travel documents are obtained and valid.\n\nProvide support through various channels (phone, email, in‑person) to resolve travel and payroll‑related inquiries.\n\nHelp personnel troubleshoot issues with travel systems and navigate complex regulations.\n\nOffer guidance on travel logistics, including planning, adjustments, and problem solution.\n\nCreate and manage documents related to timekeeping, attendance, and payroll issues, and address any related questions.\n\nAct as a Non‑DTS Entry Agent and Reviewing Official to manage travel documents within the Defense Travel System (DTS). Work is performed in an office or home office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
