We are seeking a talented Software Architect who is ready to play a crucial role in modernizing our existing Deacom product to .NET 6, then later to .NET 8, ensuring it leverages the latest advancements in .NET technologies.\nDeacom is a comprehensive manufacturing solution for small- to medium-sized batch and process manufacturers, which includes companies in the Food & Beverage, Chemical, Health & Beauty, Pharma & Life Sciences industries.\nAs a Software Architect, you will collaborate closely with peers and cross-functional teams, define architectural strategies, and guide the implementation of best practices to ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability. You will also provide technical guidance, coaching and mentoring to members of the Development team.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDrive technical innovation though the use of market-leading technologies and architectural practices.\nDesign and prototype software in a scalable and defensive manner.\nCoordinate with various internal stakeholders on product architecture decisions, documentation and developer training.\nWork with Product Design and their Team Lead to implement large scale enhancements while maintaining system consistency.\nEnsure comprehensive unit testing for all new architectural changes.\nPromote the use of future-proofing technologies through new developments.\nCoach Software Developers while assisting them in solving complex problems.\nProvide constructive feedback and code reviews to ensure consistency and quality of the codebase.\nOptimize large cloud-based software to handle large user and data volume.\nRemain up to date on new technologies in the industry.\nQualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant discipline or equivalent years of experience\nExperience with agile design and development\nIn-depth knowledge of architecture and software design patterns and anti-patterns\n5+ years of software engineering experience\nExcellent communication skills\nExcellent interpersonal skills\nProven track record of managing to deadlines\nTechnical Skills: C#, .Net 6 or later, Entity Framework Core, T-SQL, Dependency Injection, Database Design, Software Optimization\nFluent in written and spoken English\nBonus Qualifications\n\nERP, Accounting, Warehouse Management, or Manufacturing experience\nUnit and integration testing experience\nLoad testing experience for high-availability systems\n#LI-REMOTE\n#LI-CV1\n\nIn addition to our competitive salary and award winning culture, we offer an excellent benefit package.
