Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Open-Source Software (OSS) and/or Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) software in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components. Working knowledge of Configuration Management (CM) tools and Web Services implementation.\nThe Software Engineer shall be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining tools and services in support of CLEVERCHEMIST’s suite of products such as GitLab, Artifactory, MinIO, GitLab Runner, Jupyter and SPARTANDESK (Linux virtual desktop). The Software Engineer shall work closely with cross-functional teams including software developers, system administrators, project managers, and mission customers to deliver seamless integrations that enhance productivity and streamline workflows.\nAnalyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.\nDebug existing software and correct defects.\nDesign and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.\nWrite or review software and system documentation.\nIntegrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.\nDevelop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.\nServe as team lead at the level appropriate to the software development process being used on any particular project.\nDevelop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.\nDevelop and execute test procedures for software components.\nDevelop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards and conferring with users or system engineers;
