The company, founded in 1959, has performed on-site precision chemical cleaning in every State of the Union as well as several projects in Asia, continental Europe, England, Ireland and Mexico.\nAstro Pak is looking for an experienced Shop Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our industrial cleaning and maintenance facility. In this role, you'll lead shop personnel, coordinate workflow, maintain equipment, ensure safety compliance, and help deliver exceptional service to our customers.\nIf you enjoy leading teams, solving operational challenges, and creating a safe, organized, and efficient work environment, we'd love to talk with you.\nWhat You'll Do\nSupervise daily shop operations and assign work to technicians\nCoordinate schedules to ensure customer deadlines are met\nOversee receiving, shipping, and processing of customer equipment\nMaintain shop equipment, vehicles, trailers, and facility systems\nOrder shop materials, chemicals, and operating supplies\nEnsure all job documentation is accurate and completed on time\nPerform and oversee preventive maintenance on shop equipment\nLead monthly safety inspections and maintain OSHA compliance\nMaintain a clean, organized shop using 5S principles\nSupport shop production by performing hands-on work as needed\nPartner with Operations, vendors, subcontractors, and customers to keep projects moving\nWhat We're Looking For\n5+ years of experience leading shop, manufacturing, industrial, or maintenance operations\nExperience managing shop workflow, schedules, equipment, and personnel\nStrong commitment to workplace safety and OSHA compliance\nAbility to read blueprints and technical drawings\nComfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word\nStrong communication and organizational skills\nValid driver's license with an acceptable driving record\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and wear required PPE, including respirators when necessary\nPreferred Qualifications\nTechnical training or Associate degree\nOSHA Certification\nHAZWOPER and/or Confined Space certifications\nValid DOT Medical Certificate\nWork Environment\nThis is a hands-on leadership position in an industrial shop environment.
