As a program security professional at Lockheed Martin, you’ll safeguard the sensitive information and warfighting capabilities that our citizens and the world depend upon to protect U.S. and ally interests. Here, you’ll work alongside other program security experts and military members to support their military operational objectives by providing them with a safe and secure operating environment. In this fast-paced, real-world environment, you’ll draw on all your education and experience as well as the resources of Lockheed Martin to keep these exquisite capabilities protected.\n\nThe Work:\n\nDuties will include but are not limited to:\nThe Successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Program Security to include personnel, access control, visitor control, and classification management utilizing the requirements set forth in the NISPOM and other government and corporate documents and guidance in high ops tempo government contracting environment. Candidate will interface with ASW program leadership, business unit management, engineering staff, customer reps and DCSA to design and implement security measures. Develop security education programs and conduct security training. Participate in the investigations of security incidents and violations on procedural elements and make specific recommendations for corrective and preventative actions. Prepare operating procedures outlining regulations, and establishing procedures for the handling, storing, accountability and transportation of classified assets within the ASW areas. Conduct internal audits and inspections of various security sections for policy/procedural compliance and development of process improvements and risk analysis. Provide security oversight to the Lab team regarding classified asset accountability and auditing. Provide classification guidance for ASW programs. Responsible for coordinating with ASW program POCs, RMS Security Classification Management Team, Contracts and Sourcing for data sharing approvals. Assist with identifying critical assets and developing Tailored Security Plans for the ASW programs. Ensure security requirements are met for lab tours. Work is to be performed under general direction of the FSO and PMO in determining objectives and priorities of assignments. Plans, schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives implementation manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to classified materials. Develops and conducts security education classes. Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Applies business-minded and risk-managed solutions to security issues and business challenges and communicates observations and recommendations to leadership and enterprise business partners.
