This position requires an individual who can communicate customer requirements, coordinate engineering activities, track project schedules and deliverables, facilitate phase-gate reviews, and help drive projects to successful completion.\n\nDuties / Responsibilities:\n\nCoordinate engineering projects from project kickoff through production and customer delivery.\nDevelop and maintain project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and action item trackers.\nTrack project progress, identify schedule risks and roadblocks, and work with engineering teams to maintain on-time execution.\nSupport proposal development by assisting with project planning, schedule development, and engineering effort estimates for new customer opportunities.\nUtilize project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Jira to monitor project execution and resource status.\nServe as the primary day-to-day interface between customers and internal engineering teams.\nUnderstand customer Statements of Work (SOW), Source Control Drawing (SCD), and contractual deliverables, ensuring project activities remain aligned with customer expectations.\nOrganize customer meetings, technical reviews, and internal project meetings; document meeting minutes and track action items to closure.\nCoordinate phase-gate reviews and ensure required documentation and deliverables are completed before each project milestone.\nFoster effective communication across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and customer teams to ensure successful project execution.\nCustomer & Cross-Functional Coordination\n\nRequired Skills & Experience:\n\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.\n2–5 years of experience coordinating engineering or new product development projects.\nStrong customer-facing communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead project review meetings and communicate effectively with technical and management teams.\nExperience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams, managing project schedules, milestones, action items, and phase-gate reviews to ensure on-time project execution.\nAbility to understand customer requirements, SOW, SCD, and engineering deliverables, and translate them into actionable project plans.\nProficiency with Microsoft Project, Jira, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite.\n\nAdditional Preferred Skills:\n\nExperience supporting aerospace, space, defense, telecommunications, or other high-reliability industries.\nFamiliarity with New Product Introduction (NPI), engineering change management, and engineering product development processes.\nTechnical background in optics, photonics, electronics, RF, semiconductor equipment, aerospace, or other complex engineering systems.\nFamiliarity with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and experience working in a regulated environment supporting U.S. government, aerospace, or defense programs.\n\nQuantum Computing Inc.
