The Trust Administrator is responsible for supporting our Trust Officers in the daily trust administration for our ultra-high net-worth (“UHNW”) clients. The Trust Administrator will also partner with the Trust Tax, Operations, and Client Service Teams to provide a cohesive client experience.Job ResponsibilitiesSupport the Trust Officer in providing administration of personal trust accounts for UHNW clientsSupport the Trust Officer with daily trust administration responsibilitiesWork with the Trust Officer, Client Service, and Investment Advisor Teams to open new trust accountsWork with the Trust Officer on account fundings, closings, and daily transactionsInteract with financial custodians to ensure accounts are properly established and have all necessary paperworkReview principal and income ledgers weekly for overdrafts and appropriate trust accountingUtilize internal systems, including Salesforce to monitor trust activity and anticipate liquidity needsObtain appropriate documentation and ensure client accounts are up to dateSupport the Trust Officer with compliance and audit requestsProvide superior customer service for accounts under administrationEngage and partner with all internal groups as business needs ariseQualificationsBachelor’s degreeSix months to two years of related experience and/or trainingStrong desire for advancement and growthKnowledge of personal trust, IRAs, and estatesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSuperior analytical skills and organization skillsDemonstrates problem solving and decision-making skillsExtreme ability to prioritize takes and a high attention to detailAbility to work within a team environment while also being a self-starterHigh proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (performance reporting, data/transaction aggregation, data analytics, and CRM)Delaware Trust experience preferredApplications are strongly encouraged from candidates reflecting diverse educational, cultural, and experiential backgrounds.
