The Dispatcher oversees road service through communication with Operators and provides customer support to the clients. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.\nThis is a Temporary Position\nTransdev is proud to offer\nPosition Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement:\n$24.00 - $28.50(Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale)\nStarting pay $24.00 with progression to $28.50 after 6years.\nBenefits include:\nVacation: Accrued per Union CBA Guidelines\nPaid Sick Leave: Accrued according to union CBA guidelines; medical, dental & vision after 90 calendar days of employment for full-time employees, life insurance, 401k retirement benefits, and company holidays.\nBenefits may vary depending on location policy. The above represents the standard Corporate Policy.\nKey Responsibilities:\nOversee road service assigned carriers by tracking trip performance measures, route begin on time, performance, incidents, etc.\nProvide customer support by responding to questions and concerns regarding customer trips including no shows, cancellations and missed trips.\nManage emergency situations for vehicle operators; act as liaison between the carrier and emergency services.\nManage daily service by reviewing route performance and proactively responding to situations that impact customer service.\nOther duties as required.\nQualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED; Technical Degree preferred.\n3-5 years' experience dispatching.\nExcellent verbal, interpersonal and customer service skills.\nProblem solving and analytical skills.\nSubject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.
