This role will own the integrity of our financials, ensuring accurate, timely reporting while building the processes and controls needed for a high-growth SaaS environment.You'll be responsible for managing the full close process, overseeing financial reporting, and partnering closely with leadership to provide clear, actionable insights. This is a high-impact role where you'll not only ensure strong fundamentals, but also help build the infrastructure that supports our next phase of growth.This is a hybrid role based in the Boston area, and candidates should be able to work in-office regularly to collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams.What you'll doOwn and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reportingPrepare and review GAAP-compliant financial statements and oversee all general ledger activityLead internal financial reporting, including executive reporting packages and management analysisOversee investor, lender, and debt compliance reporting, as applicableManage relationships with external auditors and lead the annual audit processOversee tax compliance, including coordination with external tax advisors and review of all filingsSupervise, mentor, and develop accounting staffEstablish, document, and strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controlsManage and optimize accounting systems and financial infrastructure to support scalabilityIdentify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices across the accounting functionWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA strongly preferred)6-10+ years of progressive accounting experiencePublic accounting (audit) experience strongly preferredProven experience owning or leading the monthly close processExperience managing or mentoring accounting team membersStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirementsDemonstrated experience in SaaS accounting environments, including revenue recognition (ASC 606), deferred revenue, and familiarity with best practices for recurring revenue modelsExperience working with external auditors and managing audit processesSystems-oriented mindset with the ability to improve processes and internal controlsExperience in a high-growth or scaling environment preferredFamiliarity with Chargebee, QuickBooks Online, and HubSpot is a plusStrong attention to detail, accountability, and ability to operate in a fast-paced environmentCompensationBase Salary: $150,000 - $175,000Equity: Participation in BizzyCar's equity programWhy You'll Love This RoleThis is an opportunity to take true ownership of the accounting function at a growing SaaS company.
