Training and Development Specialist

Were looking for an experienced and dynamic Training & Development Specialist to support the development and delivery of training programs across PAX products and solutions. This role will play a critical part in enabling employees, partners, and stakeholders with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively understand and support our payment technologies. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can translate complex technical concepts into engaging, easy-to-understand training experiences. This is an onsite role in our Jacksonville office working Monday Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm. What Youll Be Doing Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on PAX products, including payment devices, software platforms, and integrated solutions Conduct instructor-led training sessions in both in-person and virtual environments for internal teams and external partners Create, update, and maintain training materials such as presentations, videos, job aids, and e-learning modules Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Support teams to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with current offerings Support new product launches by developing training strategies, enablement content, and rollout plans Evaluate training effectiveness through participant feedback, assessments, and performance metrics; continuously refine and improve training programs Facilitate onboarding training for new hires across relevant departments to ensure a strong foundation in PAX products and processes Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on PAX solutions and stay informed on industry trends within the payments ecosystem What Youll Need 3-5 years of experience in training, learning & development, or a related field Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to diverse audiences Experience working with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning development tools Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and adapt in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality training experiences Preferred SkillsFamiliarity with payment technologies, fintech, or POS systems Experience supporting product launches or sales enablement initiatives Ability to design interactive and engaging learning experiences across multiple formats Strong collaboration skills and experience working cross-functionally Who We Are PAX Technology is redefining the future of paymentsand were looking for bold thinkers, builders, and innovators to join us.
