This hands-on role involves collecting samples, conducting basic tests, recording results, and learning industry-standard procedures. Apply today!\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n\nAssist with compaction testing using nuclear and drive cylinder gauges.\nConduct basic concrete sampling and testing.\nMeasure soil moisture content.\nComplete field logs, test forms, and data entry with attention to detail.\nCommunicate test results with field and office personnel.\nLearn to read construction documents and blueprints.\nFollow safety protocols and maintain equipment.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; pursuing a degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field preferred.\nNo prior experience required, but exposure to construction or testing is a plus.\nMust have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.\nComfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.\nStrong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.\nAbility to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.\n\nSCI is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any applicant.
