If you are a Project Manager that aligns with our values, we would love for you to continue reading and apply.What You Will Do:All aspects of multi-discipline projects and clients from the proposal process to project closeoutPlan, direct, and coordinate activities including client meetings, public hearings, and public involvement eventsManage time frames and budgetsAnticipate client needs, biases, and preferences and tailor communication and work output accordinglyLead, coordinate and delegate work to multiple work teams working in multiple locationsWork directly with municipal client staff to deliver CIP programs and or projects, potentially on-site in a staff augmentation settingFormulate, track and meet program and project budgets and schedulesMaintain open and effective communication with clients as well as internal and external stakeholdersPrepare or coordinate preparation of project / client correspondence and documentationParticipate in and lead business development activities to new and existing clientsPlan, lead and participate in client meetings and networking eventsDevelop new client contacts and relationships in all areas of expertiseUnderstand alternative funding sources for municipal projects, and ability to secure fundingAct as extension of client City engineering or public works staff in a managerial role and as a Client ManagerResponsible for delivery of services across several WSB disciplines to the clientWhat You Will Bring:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited school7+ years municipal experience; direct experience working for a municipality is a plusRegistration as a Professional Engineer in MinnesotaSenior Project Manager title for the person with the right experienceExperience in managing municipal CIP programs, projects, clients and staff in this marketHistory in delivering projects with positive customer service experiencesDevelop an understanding of, or even anticipate the client’s needsWork is primarily performed in an office environment with standard office equipment, occasional travel or field visits may be required to support Who We Are: WSB is a design and consulting firm specializing in Transportation, Community Planning, Environmental, Energy, Municipal, and Construction services.
