To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.\n\nCollaborates and works closely with engineers, and other team members to understand project requirements and provide input on tool design and manufacturing processes.\nWrites and optimizes CNC programs to produce tooling, fixtures, and components based on engineering drawings and specifications.\nUses MasterCam to generate effective 2D and 3D cutter paths.\nProgram CNC Mill or Lathe manually using G&M code.\nCreate probing routines to establish home positions, part alignment, and part dimensional inspection.\nSet up CNC machines, including loading materials, selecting cutting tools, and configuring machine settings.\nOperate CNC machines to produce high-precision components and monitor the process to ensure accuracy.\nInspect finished components to ensure they meet quality standards and engineering tolerances.\n\nQualifications, Experience and Education Requirements\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nProven experience as a CNC Machinist.\nProficiency in CNC programming and operation.\nProficient with generating 2D and 3D cutter path using Mastercam.\nStrong knowledge of machining techniques and equipment.\nProblem-solving skills for troubleshooting and resolving tooling issues.\n\nPhysical Demands-General Activities\n\n Regularly Frequently Occasionally\nSitting X\nStanding X\nWalking X\nClimbing/Balancing X\nReaching - with arms and hands X\nStooping/Kneeling/Crouching/Crawling X\nHearing X\nFeeling/Touching X\nNear/Far Acuity X\n\n Regularly Frequently Occasionally\nLifting/Moving up to 10 lbs.
