This person must possess the ability to perform data analysis with regard to client requests with a focus on patient support programs such as Patient Assistance (Copay), Hub Services and other patient data related workstreams. Understanding the analysis requirements from internal or external customers and executing on those requirements is critical. Candidate must understand relational database management (RDBMS) as well as have the required experience with SQL and Excel. In addition, this individual would have the ability to function both independently and within a group. The ideal candidate will be attentive to detail and perform with a high degree of accuracy. This position requires strong initiative, project management, communication and prioritization flexibility to handle tasks across multiple clients in parallel.\n\nPrimary job responsibilities include:\n\nCreate ad hoc and standard reports using Microsoft SQL Server for different functional areas of the company\nAssess reporting results through data investigation, analysis, and evaluation\nAnalyzes complex business questions and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide feedback to decision-makers with a full understanding of area of specialization.\nStrong understanding and familiarity with patient services related data (i.e. claims data, patient detail, call center, etc.)\nIdentifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to support the development of recommendations\nQA reports for not only coding errors and issues, but also make suggestions on data representation\nStrong Written and Communications Skills\nAbility to gather and interpret relevant data and information\nAbility to determine the interrelationships between solutions and requirements\nHighly Organized, thereby efficiently handling multiple data jobs/sets\nAbility to think analytically and should be a problem solver\nAbility to make effective decisions under pressure\n\nRequired Skills:\n\nHands on experience with data and data queries, data processing/data transformations, data integration scenarios\nExperience with Pharma Sales and Marketing data and processes (Sales Targeting/Alignments/Deciling) is preferred\n5-10 years’ current & continuous experience with Microsoft SQL Server\n3+ years’ current & continuous experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) a plus\nKnowledge of statistical software a plus\nStrong Excel skills (Pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)\nShell scripting (on windows platform)\nFamiliarity with SalesForce is a plus\nGood communication skills\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience\nIQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries.
