Machine operation includes the coordination and the Mailer, Dot Wac, use of the Polybag, Drills, Shanklin, Shrink Wrap Machine and Folders, Spiral Binding in the Bindery Department which are used to complete Bindery Operations and fulfill customer orders to quality specifications.\n \nEssentials Duties:\n\nDemonstrate knowledge and the ability to understand bindery related specifications\nDemonstrate the ability to perform make readies (m/r) on all equipment listed as small machines\nDemonstrate compliance with all safety procedures\nDemonstrate consistency in the observation of all safety procedures, bending and lifting techniques\nShow leadership skills as well as interpersonal skills\nPossess the knowledge and ability to read and understand the job tickets, workers, order and all other documentation that pertains to each job\nInteract with supervisors to facilitate daily schedules\nUnderstands and carry out customer’s quality requirements\nAble to meet or exceed expected goals on make readies, speeds, waste and efficiencies, etc…\nThe ability to operate all tools pertaining to equipment, wrenches, gauges and tape measures, etc…\nOperate a power industrial hand truck.\nMonitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or to determine whether adjustments are needed\nPerform routine maintenance on equipment and determining when what maintenance is needed\n\nOther duties as assigned by management\n\n \nBasic Qualifications:\n\nMust be dependable, reliable, and responsible in fulfilling obligations.\nMust be able to troubleshoot when machine malfunction\nMust work well with others.\nMust be flexible and open to change when needed.\nMust have the ability to follow instructions.\nMust be proven self-starter to complete projects/work orders.\nMust be able to lift up to 50 pound\nMust be willing to work overtime as needed\nThe ability 12 hour shifts\n\nPerferred Qualifications:\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nMinimum 2-year bindery experience\nBasic small packaging knowledge\n\n \nPhysical Requirements \n\nProlonged periods of standing while setting up and operating equipment \nContinuously bending, twisting, kneeling and squatting\nMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.  \n\n \n CJK Group is an Equal Opportunity employer.
