Prior knowledge of chemical safety and maintenance is beneficial. Employee can perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.\n\nEssential Functions\n\nClean floors in offices, hallways, and stairwells by sweeping and mopping, and operating floor care equipment such as automatic scrubbers, floor machines, carpet machines, and wet/dry vacuums\nProperly use chemicals to properly maintain floor surfaces\nDispose of trash and debris at job sites properly\nUses knowledge of chemical safety to maintain chemicals and supplies on site\nMaintain positive client relations by displaying professionalism\nUse timekeeping system, keys, and security codes.\nReport any needed supplies and equipment repairs to the supervisor, along with any potential hazards\nComplete non-routine/emergency cleaning as specified by work orders\nRequirements\n\nMust be 18 years of age or older\nAvailability to work assigned hours and the ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision\nPrecision and attention to detail\nPrevious cleaning and floor care experience preferred.\nFloor Technicians must possess valid driver’s license, to ensure the ability to travel independently to respective job sites and drive company vehicles.\nWork Environment\n\nThe nature of the work is physical, requires uninhibited manual dexterity, lifting, bending, twisting, pushing and pulling 25 pounds repeatedly and up to 60 pounds (occasionally).\nMay be required to work atop ladders and operate mechanical equipment.\nWork is performed in a variety of conditions, may be exposed to extreme temperatures (0-90 degrees)\n\nPerformance Plus is not just another janitorial company in Northwest Indiana.
