And we help them achieve their missions to bring justice to the world in the fields of human rights, social and economic justice, environment, education, and public health and more…Check us out at Fenton.com!If you have prior experience in advertising either through past internships or academic studies, let’s hear from you.Fellowship dates: May 18, 2026 - August 28, 2026 (start dates are flexible)Fellowship position: AdvertisingCompensation: $20/hrHours: 9-6, Monday - FridayLocation: Hybrid/NY, DC, LAPosition description: See belowAdvertising Fellow Description of duties include, but are not limited to:Trafficking and Media DeploymentAssist with trafficking advertising campaignsAssist with updates to trafficking spreadsheets to ensure internal and external alignment.Coordinate creative production across teamsReview creative assets for correct specificationsResearch and ReportingAssist with researching publicly available information regarding demographics and attitudes of audiences.Assist with collating reporting from vendors and platforms weekly and monthly.Digital MarketingAssist with installing Google Tag Manager on agency-developed websites.Assist with the development and tracking of UTM codes for ad source attribution.Assist with compiling email and SMS reporting for direct response campaigns.\Assist with copywriting and content development of email, SMS, or social media campaigns as neededAssist with loading email and SMS campaign sends, including quality assurance and launch.Conduct basic QA checks on landing pageAdministrativeServe as a principal note-taker on internal and external calls.Schedule meetings with agency and client teamsSupport in preparing client presentation decksClient Relations and Project ManagementAssist with the preparation of and/or review of activity reports and status reports for clientsTrack creative deadlines and maintain organizational systems set up by team project managerKnowledge, Skills, AbilitiesHas an affinity for advertising and marketing and the creative/production process of communication materialsDemonstrated writing and research skillsPassion for communications (what gets clicks, why words matter and so much more)Ability to work on multiple projects and effectively pivot from one to the next in a fast-paced environmentAttention to detail and organizationInterested in social issuesWorking knowledge of Google Analytics and other insight/ traffic toolsExperience with Email CRMs like Action Network, EveryAction, Mailchimp, Customer.IO a plusCapstone PresentationWith guidance and mentorship from your Fellow advisor, you will develop a 5-10 minute presentation at the completion of the fellowship to Fenton staff outlining your role on a client project you learned from and want to share.
