We are willing to offer above industry-average compensation for the right candidate .Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Construction Superintendent located in Georgetown, TX. The Construction Superintendent will oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring safety protocols are followed and projects are completed efficiently. Responsibilities include managing schedules, monitoring budgets, coordinating with project teams, supervising contractors, and maintaining quality standards throughout all phases of construction.ResponsibilitiesProject Planning and Strategy: Plan and supervise construction activities, including determining methods, manpower, materials, equipment, and schedules. Ensure all work complies with drawings, specifications, and project timelines.Team Leadership: Coordinate work among different trades, departments, contractors, and project teams. Resolve construction-related issues and maintain clear communication with all parties involved.Resource Management: Monitor compliance with safety programs and document corrective actions when needed. Ensure materials, equipment, inspections, and manpower are aligned with project schedules.Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, clients, vendors, subcontractors, and project teams, to ensure alignment and address concerns promptly.Performance Monitoring: Track project progress through schedules, reports, and key performance metrics. Adjust plans as needed to meet changing project requirements or challenges.Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets required quality standards, project specifications, and applicable compliance regulations.Innovation and Improvement: Continuously look for opportunities to improve efficiency, optimize processes, and enhance project outcomes through innovative methods, tools, or technologies.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum of 8+ years of supervisory experience in commercial, industrial, or similar facility construction projects.Must have experience working on commercial or industrial projects with budgets of at least $15 million.Strong knowledge of construction methods, site operations, safety requirements, and project coordination.Preferred QualificationsAdvanced understanding of construction scheduling and cost control.Experience supervising, motivating, and mentoring cross-functional teams.Proven ability to maintain high safety standards while delivering quality outcomes.Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.Hours and ScheduleAverage of 50 hours per week.Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM .Lunch meetings may occasionally be required.After-hours or weekend work may be necessary on occasion for project needs, travel, events, or deadlines.CompensationAltra Construction is willing to offer above industry-average compensation for the right candidate , based on experience, qualifications, and project background.Start DateWe are looking for a qualified candidate who is available to start immediately.
