The Project Engineer assists in the execution and management of all construction projects assigned to the position and may be a client point of contact regarding customer relations and marketing. This is an entry level position, with growth opportunity to become a Project Manager. After the project is completed in Drayton, ND the position will transition to one of our offices in either Aurora, MN or Superior, WI.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following (other duties may be assigned as required):\nAssists Project Managers in the daily tasks of a construction project including ensuring safe work performance, meeting and exceeding Owner’s expectations, quality work, performing the work on budget, and meeting the project schedule.\nCommunicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure that current plans and specifications are used and that the materials and equipment needed by the field are on site.\nReview timecards and communicate discrepancies/questions with field supervision.\nAssist with resource tracking and allocations.\nTrack equipment usage and update production quantities on a weekly basis.\nAssists with controlling tool loss and ensures transfers are being accurately documented/completed.\nRead/comprehend project drawings and perform ship drawing reviews.\nPrepare cost analysis and track change orders, RFI’s, and manage scheduling changes.\nEstablish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors.\nPerform all other duties as assigned\nQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
