Other relevant essential functions may be required.\n\nWhat you need:\nAt least 9-12 months of experience with Databricks\nAt least 9-12 months of experience with Data Services\nExpertise in designing and deploying data applications on cloud solutions, such as AWS\nComprehensive understanding of data management best practices including demonstrated experience with data profiling, sourcing, and cleansing routines utilizing typical data quality functions involving standardization, transformation, rationalization, linking and matching.\nExperience in building ETL / data warehouse transformation processes\nHands on experience in performance tuning and optimizing code running in programming languages such as PySpark and Python\nGood understanding of SQL, T-SQL and/or PL/SQL\nDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills particularly those that apply to a big data environment.\nExperience working with structured and unstructured data.\nExperience working in an Agile environment.\nExperience of working with relational databases: (SQL Server, PostgreSQL)\nExperience with non-relational / NoSQL data repositories (incl. MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4J)\nDesign and implement data ingestion pipelines from multiple sources ensuring the quality and consistency of data is always maintained.\nWork with event based / streaming technologies to ingest and process data.\nExperience working in a command line environment and a general understanding of Red Hat Linux OS, or other Unix-like OS.\n\nCompensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.\nRole Location: Remote\nCompensation Range: $56,000-$85,000\n\nBenefits\nFull-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits.
