The Visual Lead will work closely with Operations & Visual Managers in initiating, delegating work, and providing feedback to the team to achieve optimal results supporting total store operations. Duties require constant movement in and around the store, including the sales floor and back of house. When not actively assisting guests, this position takes initiative to perform other tasks, as needed, to keep store clean, safe, inviting and operating efficiently.\n\nVisual Leader\n\nManage execution of key operational functions including shipment, receiving and processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, intra-day sales floor replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management\n\nMaintains strategic product presentation and merchandising by ensuring product recovery, restock, destock, and making visual merchandising change in accordance with directive and with partnership of the Visual Manager\n\nEffectively plans visual floor changes with the management team through payroll management and adapting the zone and visual support to the needs of the business\n\nExecutes and maintains visual direction from planning through executing to meeting company expectations, budgets, timeline\n\nUtilizes reporting tools in partnership with management to identify business opportunities with product placement, outfitting, and stock levels. Makes changes as necessary\n\nBusiness Leader\n\nPartner with Operations & Visual Managers to manage reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities to ensure maintained and maximized\n\nDemonstrate strong business acumen by leveraging metrics to support business-driving strategies\n\nMove dynamically on the retail floor to assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team and guests\n\nPeople Leader\n\nLeads by example and inspires staff in daily operations, guest experience, and visual standards\n\nPartner with management to provide coaching, guidance and direction to Associates; responsible for recruitment and development of talent\n\nUsage of company performance tools to evaluate associates and provide constant feedback to drive individual growth and improvement in partnership with the store leader\n\nFlow Experience Leader\n\nCollaborate with Operations Lead to ensure cross-functional training, and Sales & Service Lead to ensure the business is well-executed\n\nExecute company-level operations-focused directives, projects and initiates, in partnership with leadership team to achieve goals & KPI’s\n\nOpen and close the store in accordance with visual standards\n\nVISUAL LEAD QUALIFICATIONS\n\n2+ Years prior work experience in a client-centric, sales environment\n\nProven leadership capabilities demonstrating excellent decision making\n\nValues feedback, receptive to receiving feedback and eager to provide\n\nSelf-motivated with a desire to achieve results and excel individually, and as a team\n\nExcellent interpersonal and written communication skills\n\nAligns with and embodies ALO’s Guiding Principles\n\nRequires constant movement in an around all areas of store\n\nAbility to lift, push, carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds\n\nAbility to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder\n\nAbility to stand and move for an entire shift\n\nVISUAL LEAD SCHEDULE\nTo build a balanced schedule that supports the needs of the business and our teams, we expect all full-time employees to be available for opening, closing and weekend shifts, which may be subject to change.
