Client Service Associate / Relationship Manager
Laffer Tengler Investments is a growing asset management firm with over $1.5 billion in assets. The company is looking to add an experienced Client Service Associate / Relationship Manager to its Scottsdale, Arizona location. This client-facing individual will work closely with and provide support for our Investment and Relationship Management teams, providing support throughout the complete client lifecycle from onboarding through ongoing account management. Responsibilities include overseeing client timelines, coordinating account openings and documentation, facilitating custodian bank relationships, coordinating meeting schedules, and maintaining seamless communication throughout the client journey. The role requires an understanding of investments and familiarity with client goals, risks, and objectives. The candidate must maintain the highest professional and ethical standards and possess strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and consistent follow-through. As a boutique firm, team members work closely together across multiple areas of the business, so versatility, resourcefulness, and a collaborative mindset are important. ResponsibilitiesDevelop a complete understanding of the firm’s investment philosophy and strategies to effectively communicate with clients Research and respond to internal and external client inquiries in a timely and professional manner Coordinate client onboarding, account openings, account maintenance, ongoing client communications, meeting coordination, and related documentation Engage in daily monitoring and coordination of client requests, distributions, and reporting needs Provide training and support to clients on the firm’s reporting and custodial platforms. Support client onboarding and ongoing relationship management efforts with a high level of professionalism and responsiveness Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal colleagues, custodian banks, and external service providers Perform duties and special projects independently or collaboratively as required by the Investment and Relationship Management teams Demonstrate a willingness to learn, accept feedback, and continue developing professionally within the role QualificationsCompletion of a four-year college degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Operations, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience working in accounting, finance, operations, back office, or client service, preferably within asset or wealth management Strong understanding of investment management, including equity and fixed income markets, and the ability to communicate effectively with high-net-worth individuals regarding investment portfolios Experience with investment management and reporting software, preferably APX and Black Diamond, along with experience working with custodian banks such as Pershing and Schwab Initiative to create and improve workflows and operational processes Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook Professional communication skills, sound judgment, and a client service-oriented mindset Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail and follow-through FINRA Series 65 license is required, or ability to obtain within six weeks of hire What We OfferA collaborative environment where team members are encouraged to contribute across multiple areas of the business Direct exposure to senior leadership, investment professionals, and client relationships Opportunities to grow professionally, take on new responsibilities, and expand your expertise within the firm A culture that values professionalism, initiative, teamwork, and strong client service Competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits program Additional RequirementsThis is an in-office full-time position located in Scottsdale, Arizona Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States No visa sponsorship available
