The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, process improvement, and a deep understanding of CMMI standards and practices. The ideal candidate has experience managing, updating, and auditing the corporate Quality Management System (QMS). The ideal candidate will have experience with maintaining various ISO standards (9001, 14001, 20000, 27001, 28000), CMMI (DEV, SVC, +) and be capable of acquiring and maintaining other corporate certifications. The Quality Manager will play a critical role in the development, implementation, and monitoring of process improvements, conducting audits, providing training to staff, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement within Softrams.\nFederal Requirements:\nAbility to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance designation.\nMust reside in and be able to perform work in the United States.\nMust have lived in the United States for 3 of the last 5 years.\nRequired Qualifications:\nThe candidate should have 10 years of overall IT experience with emphasis on technology projects and quality management.\nFive (5) years of experience leading quality programs at the corporate level, inclusive of process management, quality, audit, and compliance\nStrong background in technology project management or experience in software development, ML development, or IT development\nDeep knowledge and hands-on experience with various quality, process improvement, and management frameworks including ISO, CMMI, PMBOK, Agile, Six Sigma, and Project Management\nStatistical analysis background and experience\nStrong understanding of CMMI standards and practices\nExperience in planning and conducting audits and assessments\nProficiency in using process management and documentation tools, including Confluence, Jira, Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Project\nPMP Certification through PMI\nAgile SAFe Certification\nExcellent verbal communication and writing skills.\nEffective problem solving and identifying and negotiating process improvements.\nBachelor’s degree in quality assurance, process improvement, engineering, or a related field\nCertification in CMMI or related process improvement methodologies is highly desirable\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nResponsibilities:\nManage, update, and audit the corporate Quality Management System (QMS) that incorporates CMMI DEV/SVC plus ISO and AS9100 principles as required.\nResponsible for all ISO and CMMI documentation implementation, revision, and incorporation into the Softrams QMS.\nIdentify areas for process improvement, develop improvement plans, and once approved, implement the plans.\nUsing analytical and statistical techniques, monitor and measure the effectiveness of the work performance through data analysis, process improvement, and change requests.\nManage audits:\nDevelop an internal audit schedule; plan and conduct scheduled and ad hoc internal audits and assessments.\nPrepare and conduct internal audits against customer and project performance requirements.\nReport and present evaluation and audit findings to project management and team members verbally and through the preparation of written reports.\nObjectively evaluate, through audits and reviews, processes, deliverables, and services against the applicable process descriptions, standards, and tools.\nIdentify and document noncompliance issues. Ensure that noncompliance issues are addressed in a timely manner.\nTrack and escalate unresolved non-compliance issues and corrective and preventative action plans to closure.\nDevelops or revises standard operational and working practices as related to quality.\nManage the Corrective and Preventive Action Request process.\nSupport the Management Review process with Quality related issues and inputs and participate in weekly/monthly meetings to discuss project metrics.\nProvide staff training on quality related policies, procedures, tools and techniques for improving processes and practices.\nExecute the day-to-day quality related activities (i.e. log improvement recommendations, change requests, process updates, process related inquiries).\nPerform work product quality reviews for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and regulatory compliance and work with authors to resolve defects.\nExperience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality.\nUnderstanding of the Project Management Institute (PMI) framework.\nKnowledge of various project management methodologies (e.g., agile/scrum).\nBenefits and Perks:\n65%-75% company-sponsored (including dependents) premiums towards medical, dental andvision insurance. 100% employer sponsored STD, LTD andlife insurance (min $100K).
