Successful candidates will have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills..\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and implement new capabilities and custom software solutions to solve unique government customer problems\nFollow best practices to write well-tested, high performing code\nIdentify and resolve issues found in existing code\nIntegrate capabilities with external services and tools\nParticipate in code reviews and mentor team members\nCommunicate status and technical details with customers\nRequirements\nThe following minimum qualifications are required for the position:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant STEM field\nActive DoD SECRET clearance or higher\nU.S. Citizenship required\nHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality\n3+ years experience writing, maintaining, debugging, and testing code\nExperience developing web applications\nExperience with server-side languages, preference toward Python, and/or Golang, NodeJS\nExperience with frontend Single Page Application frameworks (i.e., React, Vue, and Angular)\nExperience with version control software (e.g., Git)\nExperience with bug/issue tracking software such as JIRA\nCandidates who have any of the following skills will be preferred:\nExperience with software container development (e.g., Docker)\nExperience with a variety of data storage technologies (document stores, object stores, relational databases, etc)\nExperience with Kubernetes and Helm\nExperience using CI/CD pipelines including ArgoCD, GitLab CI/CD, and Jenkins\nActive DoD TS/SCI clearance\nBenefits\nSciTec offers a highly competitive salary and benefits package, including:\n4% Safe Harbor 401(k) match\n100% company paid HSA Medical insurance, with a choice of 2 buy-up options\n80% company paid Dental insurance\n100% company paid Vision insurance\n100% company paid Life insurance\n100% company paid Long-term Disability insurance\nShort-term Disability insurance\nAnnual Profit-Sharing Plan\nDiscretionary Performance Bonus\nPaid Parental Leave\nGenerous Paid Time Off, including Holiday, Vacation, and Sick pay\nFlexible Work hours\nThe pay range for this position is $88,000-$130,000.
