RESPONSIBILITIES:\nPerform manual drilling operations using hand drills, drill presses, and related tools.\nAssemble steel components according to work instructions, blueprints, or job travelers.\nMeasure and verify hole locations, sizes, and part alignment using measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, gauges, etc.).\nDeburr, clean, and prepare parts for next operations.\nInspect completed work to ensure it meets quality specifications.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S and safety standards.\nFollow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.\nCommunicate production issues, defects, or equipment concerns to supervision.\nMeet production and quality goals while maintaining safe work practices.\nPerform other duties as assigned to support production needs.\nBe able to operate air powered tooling\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\nHigh school graduate or equivalent training or work experience.\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES\nAbility to safely operate hand tools and basic shop equipment.\nBasic mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.\nAbility to read and follow written and verbal instructions.\nAbility to read basic blueprints or willingness to learn.\nStrong attention to detail and quality.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nDependable attendance and punctuality.\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.\nAbility to lift up to 40 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.\nFrequent use of hands for gripping, drilling, and assembly tasks.\nAbility to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.\nENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:\nConform to all Wayne Metals, LLC environmental policies, programs and procedures.\nConform to all State of Indiana laws and regulations.\nReport any environmental concerns to Supervisor, Environmental Management Representative, or the Plant
