Perform duties required for the set up and operation of manual mills, CNC machining center, CNC lathes, manual lathes, manual drill presses, pneumatic saw and hydraulic press along with the inspection of fabricated parts.Able to review samples, drawings or instructions to understand specificationsTake measurements and mark material for cutting or shapingSelect appropriate machines and position or load material for jobUnload/deburr part, inspection of part with calipers, hole test gauges, thread gauges, etc.Hold tolerances on part per printPerform routine machine maintenance - maintain oil and coolant levels, clean out chip pan, clean and oil, etc.Follow Instructions and safety regulations with a positive mental attitudeSelf-motivated, ability and desire to learn, able to communicate clearlyAble to work 40 hours a week, extended hours may be required if necessaryPerform other duties as trained or requiredRequirements:Basic machine shop knowledge2 years+ manual mill or manual lathe experience or graduated from accredited precision machining college or trade schoolAbility to run CNC lathes and machining centerCapable of editing and writing CNC programs.
