Local to Permian Basin or Kennedy, TX preferred. Position will require driving equipment to and from customer locations hauling various types of materials and equipment. Assigned equipment could include light duty vehicle or winch truck depending on assignment. This is a safety sensitive position.Job DutiesDrives required equipment safely to and from customer locationDrives commercial vehicles over various road types and terrain including highways, rural roads, paved and gravel surfaces and possible off-road situations. Road conditions could include muddy roads, snow covered roads, steep hills, and other poor conditionsOperates equipment in a safe and efficient mannerAble to follow verbal directions and use navigation equipment if needed to find locations making sure the proper truck route is followedLoads, unloads, secures cargo according to regulationCompletes paperwork for each job to include pre and post trip inspections, work tickets, JSA's, and DOT electronic logsUnderstands and performs DOT minimum maintenance requirements of CMVUnderstands and uses appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all timesCleans and maintains equipment during and after useStops work due to unsafe conditions or situationsMay be requested to work outside of normal work schedule to meet customer needsPerforms other duties as assignedRequirementsValid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with at least 1-year winch truck experienceAbility to pass a DOT physical and maintain a current medical cardUnderstands and complies with DOT rules and regulationsMust pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background checkMust pass MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) requirement standardsMust be able and willing to be on call, work nights, weekends and holidaysMust be able to read and speak EnglishTravel requiredPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift and/or move up to 50 poundsAbility to sit long periods of time while drivingAbility to stand or walk for periods of time, xhyhwjd climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlTypical Working Conditions and HazardsWork is performed in all weather conditions; extreme heat, extreme cold, wet and/or humid conditionsAble to perform duties with proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)Working near or with heavy tools and moving equipmentPotential exposure to loud noises, airborne toxins, solvents, flammable atmospheres and industrial chemicalsJob Type: Full-timeExperience:Winch Truck Driving: 1 year (Required)License:Class A CDL (Required)Work Location:Multiple locations
